What is RAPID Neurofascial Reset?
Updated: Oct 12, 2021
You may see the words RAPID on the website or hear me talk about it during a massage. RAPID is a soft tissue, movement based technique, that addresses the central nervous systems role in alleviating pain.
What to expect?
During a session, the client is clothed and no oil or lotion is used. Every session is a combination of assessment and treatment. Areas are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific movements from the client.
The movement phase of the treatment may be uncomfortable, as we want to illicit a degree of pain. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function to the tissues. You may be sore the next day, but will feel great in the following days and experience less pain and more ease of movement!
Clients love RAPID because of the "rapid" response to treatment. Most painful conditions will be resolved in a few treatments.
I typically use a combination of RAPID and massage for a clients first time, so they can experience it and see the results. Stand alone treatments are recommended to really resolve a condition, those can be booked online in 30 minute or 60 minute blocks.
A 30 minute session is good for 1 condition (for example, Sciatic pain), 60 minutes should be booked if there are multiple conditions to address.
Some of the conditions that RAPID can treat are:
Migraines/Headaches
Frozen Shoulder
Back Pain
Whiplash
TMJD
Carpal Tunnel
Sciatica
Bursitis
Plantar Fasciitis
Knee Pain
Shin Splints
Tendonitis
...and more!
Book a session today and experience more ease of movement so you can get back to enjoying life.
